Norway Spruce - This is the original Christmas tree and for some people the only tree. The Norway is a beautiful tree when tended to properly. But, because it has a tendency to lose its needles people shy away. Needle retention can be helped by leaving the tree outside for as long as possible and then making sure a water retaining stand is used so it can be watered every day
Fraser Fir - This is the most favoured tree in America and is becoming increasingly popular in the UK as it has great needle retention and a lovely fresh citrus fragrance. The shiny dark flat green needles are short and soft, an ideal tree for all members of the family to decorate.
Scott’s Pine - a long needled variety Christmas Tree. Excellent for holding its needles. This variety has a very distinctive fresh pine smell which makes it very popular choice for those looking for a traditional Christmas tree. The long pine needles makes it easy to decorate this tree.
Nordmann Fir - by far the most popular choice of Christmas Tree.
Fantastic for holding its needles with a lovely soft feel to its branches. The Nordmann Fir is the most popular Christmas tree in the UK, one of the reasons being that it has a lovely symmetrical shape, with strong, full and bushy branches from bottom to tip.
